Design Agreement

Before we begin to plan your salon, Veeco will give you a quote on the cost of your planning. Below is a copy of our design agreement.

Before any space planning services begin, all respective signatures are required, and the appropriate design fee/deposit must be paid in full. Each design fee is non-refundable. The design fee will be equal to the total square footage multiplied by $.50 ($500 minimum). This fee/deposit covers a reasonable amount of time to be set aside for a designer. Anything exceeding a reasonable amount of time (over 5 hours per every 1000 square feet) will be subject to a charge of $75.00 per hour.

Total Square Footage: 1000 SF

Design Hours Required: 4.5 Hrs.

Design Fee: $500.00

*10% of the total purchase amount of all regularly priced Veeco manufactured equipment (up to, but not exceeding, the total design fees/deposit) will be covered by the design fee/deposit. This amount is limited to the purchase of only Veeco manufactured equipment and is not applicable toward web orders or toward the purchase of any outsourced or imported furniture or equipment made by another source. The aforementioned purchase must be placed within 6 months from the date of original deposit; otherwise the deposit will be forfeited.

Total Amount of Veeco Items Ordered: $5000.00

Total Applied to Order: $500.00

Veeco Manufacturing, Inc. will prepare space plan drawings, showing the location of movable equipment and furnishings. Electrical and plumbing recommendations will be given in layout form only after a signed order has been placed and deposit has been secured. If such a layout is required before the order/deposit is received, an additional deposit will be required, to be billed and applied toward the purchase at the same $.50/SF rate as above. These drawings shall not replace nor substitute architecturally stamped drawings. All Veeco drawings are conceptual in nature and are intended to set forth a floor plan design only.

The laws of Illinois shall govern this agreement.

I/we fully understand and accept the terms outlined in this agreement. No representations or agreements have been made other than those contained within this agreement. Only written statements signed by all parties below can modify this agreement.
