Tania Lopez-Simanis
Plant Manager

Tania Lopez, Plant Manager, VEECO Tania grew up in the south side of Chicago. Her experience in the manufacturing business has come from working in the family business. She joined Veeco Manufacturing Inc. in 1999 as Office Support. She has worked her way up to Plant Manager. She oversees the plant employees and observing departments to make sure they are running smoothly and efficiently. Tania is responsible for coordinating operations within the plan to make sure work is being done effectively, creating goals for plant production, properly training staff and keeping them motivated, keeping in touch with shipping and receiving departments and making sure the plant is a safe and clean environment for workers.
