Ordering Online Important Information


PLEASE NOTE: Veeco Manufacturing guarantees all shipments to be carefully packed. However, we cannot guarantee safe delivery, and all damage claims must be made to the carrier. Shipments should be thoroughly inspected immediately upon delivery, and any damage and/or shortage should be noted on the Bill of Lading/delivery receipt. All such claims (except for shampoo bowls) are waived unless made by the buyer in writing within 5 business days after receipt of merchandise (3 business days for concealed damage). All freight claims regarding shampoo bowls must be made within 24 hours. Also, please be aware that you will need an inspection report to support any such claim. DO NOT throw out any packaging materials. It is also strongly advisable that you immediately photograph any damages.

Please be advised that all shipments are delivered "tailgate" only (delivery is made to the tail end of the truck) unless specifically noted otherwise on your original order. Deliveries requiring additional services (i.e. lift gate, call before shipping, call before delivery, inside delivery) MUST be noted accordingly on the original order. Neither unpacking and/or installation of your equipment nor disposal of packing materials is available unless special arrangements have been made prior to signing your order. If additional shipping or delivery services are required/requested at time of delivery, your credit card will be charged automatically.

If, for any reason, you are unable to inspect your merchandise immediately, it is strongly advisable to sign the Bill of Lading/delivery receipt "subject to inspection." However, we cannot guarantee that the freight company will honor any claims made after the above mentioned time frames.

When making purchases online, Veecomanufacturing.com only allows one option for shipping methods labeled "Veeco Express Shipping". The shipping costs vary based on the sum of all the products weights in your order.

When your order is ready to be shipped, the best shipping method is determined by the staff of Veecomanufacturing.com, taking into account many things including price and quality.

Your order will be shipped either by UPS, Federal Express, or by Freight. If you require special shipping, please contact Veeco customer service at 1-800-637-2326.

Please note, currently Veecomanufacturing.com only ships within the continental United States. We will ship outside the United States for phone orders only. Please call 1-800-637-2326 to place these orders.

Veecomanufacturing.com will try to ship all your items together in one order, however, depending on stock, items in your order may be shipped seperatly in order to get you your items as quickly as possible.

RESIDENTIAL DELIVERY
HANDLING FEES

Although we have taken measures to properly pack/crate your order, we cannot control the handling it receives in transit. Most carriers will not honor "CONCEALED DAMAGE" if the shipment is signed for "FREE AND CLEAR". In order to protect your rights with the shipper we are recommending you take the following actions when you receive the shipment.

·        If there is any damage to the shipping carton or crate note the damage on the delivery receipt and sign "SUBJECT TO INSPECTION" i.e.: "box damaged"

·        Open the shipment for a quick visual inspection within 24 hours of receiving the shipment

·        Call the FREIGHT TERMINAL phone number on the top of the receipt immediately after observing freight damage to your product and file a claim

·        Do NOT dispose of the damaged product or the packing carton/crate. The freight company will come out to your location to inspect the product to determine how the product was damaged

·        Damaged products storage- If you cannot store the damaged products, please contact Veeco Manufacturing Inc., so arrangements can be made with the freight company to pick up the freight.

·        Recovery on damaged claims is directly related to the amount of time taken to inspect the shipment. File your claim immediately. AFTER you have filed your claim with the carrier call Veeco Manufacturing Inc. at (800-635-3772) notifying us of the nature of the claim and the date you filed the claim with the freight company.  

·        Sign and date this notice to create the appropriate paper trail to assist us in helping you negotiate your claim with the freight company

Freight charges cover tailgate delivery to commercial address only.

Tailgate Delivery means that the truck will pull up in front of the salon and open the back of the truck up. The client is responsible for taking their shipment off the truck and carrying it into the salon.

The following services are available for and additional fee.

DELIVERY NOTIFICATION-$10

  • The freight company will call client and schedule a time for delivery

LIFT GATE SERVICE-$150

  • The freight company will bring a truck with a lift gate. The lift gate is used to lower the item from the truck bed down to the ground.
  • Useful if the client does not have a loading dock.
  • Truck driver will NOT carry the item into the salon.
  • It is the client’s responsibility to carry the item(s) into the salon.

INSIDE DELIVERY-$50

  • Truck Driver will HELP carry item(s) inside.
  • Client must have a freight elevator if they are not on the first floor.
  • Inside delivery does NOT include carrying the item up stairs.
    (This service is NOT available).
  • If the client does not have a loading dock they must pay for Lift Gate Services in additional to Inside Delivery if weight of item(s) is prohibitive of manual movement of goods.

RESIDENTIAL DELIVERY-$50

  • Used if the client is having item(s) delivered to their home or a home-base salon.
  • Additional transit time may be incurred if the shipment needs to be re-consigned to a smaller truck.

Clients must inspect all boxes for any signs of damage before signing and accepting the delivery. Once the client has signed the bill of lading, they are accepting the order as is. If there are signs of damage, the client MUST note it on the bill of lading and they MUST sign it.

HANDLING FEES - Pricing Varies

Handling charges are costs related to freight into our factory, in addition to general warehousing fees, if any, are incurred during a period of time. Note that handling fees are only charged on select items that meet this criteria, or specific items that would normally be drop-shipped from our outside warehousing facilities.
